Amir Khan will put his WBC Silver welterweight title on the line against Chris Algieri on May 29 at Barclays Center. The fight will air on Spike TV @ 9pm. Amir Khan enters this fight with a 30-3 record that includes 19 knockouts. Khan has won four fights in a row and his last outing was a unanimous decision against Devon Alexander. Chris Algieri enters this fight with a 20-1 record that includes eight knockouts. Algieri hopes to bounce back in a big way after losing a unanimous decision in November against Manny Pacquiao.

Amir Khan

Amir Khan bring more experienced into the ring. He has some of the fastest hands in the sport today. We all know Khan's chin is not the greatest however Algieri does not have much pop behind his punches. Khan will have to use his speed and combinations to land volume. He will also have to be in top shape for this bout as Algieri is always in top conditioning. I think that Khan's speed and punching power will be to much for Algieri. The fight will go the distance but Khan will score with a wide margin.

Chris Algieri

Algieri’s best trait would probably be his conditioning, as he can go the distance. He has great footwork and he best punch combination is his straight 1/2 down the middle. If Algieri can connect that one punch hard down the middle and touch Khan's glass chin then he has a good chance of knocking him out. The problem is that Algieri does not have much pop behind his punches. Algieri is going to have to use his great footwork and counter punching to out box Khan.
